Some things shouldn't have a price.
The Idea Behind It
This platform started from a simple observation: people carry words they never get to say. Feelings with no outlet. Things addressed to someone who's gone, or no longer in their life, or someone they can never be vulnerable with.
There was no obvious place for those words. Therapy is expensive and not accessible to everyone. Journals are private to the point of feeling like talking to no one. Social media is the opposite problem - too public, too permanent, too tied to identity.
The goal was to build something in between. Somewhere your words could exist in the world, be seen by others who might recognize themselves in them, without requiring anything from you.
No account. No email. No credit card. Nothing.
The Honest Truth: It Makes No Money
This site currently generates no income. Zero.
The server costs, the domain, the storage - all of it comes out of one developer's pocket. There are no investors, no revenue, no monetization strategy. It is not a startup. It is not a business. It is one person paying real money every month so that strangers on the internet have somewhere to put their words.
No ads. No data selling. No subscriptions. Just a bill that gets paid quietly, month after month, because the thing feels worth existing.
Why Do It Then?
Because some things are worth doing even when they don't pay.
The words people leave here are real. The grief, the love, the apologies, the things said too late or never said at all - none of that is content. It's not a product. Charging for access to it felt wrong from the start.
This is a favor to the world. A small one. But a real one.
Why Accessibility Matters
The people who most need to say something are not always the people with disposable income for apps and subscriptions. Grief doesn't come with a billing plan. Regret doesn't care about your credit score.
Keeping this free is a values decision. Emotional expression should not be a premium feature.
